چکیده

Introduction. Cellulose-containing parts of herbs are an excellent source alternative energy and can be used to produce biological ethanol. The present research aims at improving this fundamental promising area biotechnology. It introduces a new consortium microorganisms that saccharify while fermenting the substrate.
Study objects methods. featured technical cellulose obtained from Miscanthus sinensis using hydrotropic delignification oxidation with pertrifluoroacetic acid. ethanol content in culture liquid was determined Agilent 7890B gas chromatograph flame ionization detector. biocompatibility strains studied by growing direct co-culture dense nutrient medium.
Results discussion. objective create microbial for single-step production bioethanol cellulose. A set experiments cultivation conditions made it possible select optimal producers. two developed consortia required compositions media, which were varying ratio components measuring yield resulting liquid.
 Conclusion. best consisted Pichia stipites Y7124, Candida shehatae NCL3501, Kluyveromyces marxianus Y-4290, Zymomonas mobilis 113 1:1:1:1. parameters included: temperature = 35 ± 1°C, pH 5.2, time 16 1 h. most efficient medium had following composition (g/l): glucose – 5.0; peptone yeast extract 0.4; K2HPO4 1.5; (NH)2 HPO4 MgSO4 0.5.

One-pot bioethanol production from cellulose by co-culture of Acremonium cellulolyticus and Saccharomyces cerevisiae

UNLABELLED BACKGROUND While the ethanol production from biomass by consolidated bioprocess (CBP) is considered to be the most ideal process, simultaneous saccharification and fermentation (SSF) is the most appropriate strategy in practice. In this study, one-pot bioethanol production, including cellulase production, saccharification of cellulose, and ethanol production, was investigated for ...

Biotechnological Production of Cellulose by Gluconacetobacter Xylinus from Agricultural Waste

The purpose of this study was to utilize low quality date syrup, a rich and available source of nutrient in Iran, for the production of bacterial cellulose using Gluconacetobacter xylinus. Static batch fermentationfor the purpose of cellulose production by G. xylinus (PTCC, 1734) was studied using low quality date syrupand sucrose solution (Bx. 10%) as fermentation media at 28°C. Effects of cellulose crystallinity, hemicellulose, and lignin on the enzymatic hydrolysis of Miscanthus sinensis to monosaccharides.

The effects of cellulose crystallinity, hemicellulose, and lignin on the enzymatic hydrolysis of Miscanthus sinensis to monosaccharides were investigated. A air-dried biomass was ground by ball-milling, and the powder was separated into four fractions by passage through a series of sieves with mesh sizes 250-355 microm, 150-250 microm, 63-150 microm, and <63 microm. Each fraction was hydrolyzed...
